Hi,

I haven't posted on here before, but have been following with interest.

Just a little bit of background. I ordered some armour (the old type) before

they re-formulated it and started taking it last year - in September and after

feeling fanastic for a few days I then felt worse.

I found out after reading the STTM website and joining numerous facebook and

yahoo groups that this is probably due to adrenal fatigue. I then took the

Genova adrenal stress test and low behold I had low cortisol levels at each of

the 4 times of the day esp. the morning level was very low.

So I started on the HC and T3 protocol in November after ordering from the

internet and have been on it since - up to 35 of HC and 75 of T3 - doing fine -

much better energy, but not 100%. Anyway I didn't want to be on it forever and

so got my Thyroid and Anaemia Screens tested including RT3 and here are the

results I got back today. Do they mean I can come off the HC and T3? As it

appears there is very little RT3? Does it mean it is safe to try the old Armour

or the Thiroyd I bought from Thailand. I believe I am gluten intolerant so I am

avoiding the Thyroid-S.

Test Results : 07/04/10

Total T4 <12.9 Ref Range 58 – 154 Low

TSH 0.004 Ref Range 0.4 - 4.0 Low

Free T4 <3.86 Ref Range 10 – 22 Low

Free T3 5.90 Ref Range 2.8 - 6.5 Optimal

Free T4: Free T3 ratio 0.65 Ref Range 3.0 - 5.0 Low

Thyroglobulin <20.0 Ref Range 0 – 40 Optimal

Peroxidase <10.0 Ref Range 0 – 35 Optimal

Reverse T3 0.14 Ref Range 0.14 - 0.54 Low

Vitamin B12 (Serum) 370 Optimal Range 300 – 911 Optimal

Folate (Serum) 12.8 Optimal Range > 3.4 Optimal

Ferritin 66 Optimal Range 27 – 12 Optimal

Vitamin D 48 Optimal Range 50 - 100 Low

P.S my morning temps are still low - 36.3 - 36.6, and I do have hypo symptoms

such as extra weight, sluggishness, low motivation, slow speech, thin hair,

bloated face etc.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Many thanks
