Guest guest Posted April 15, 2010 Report Share Posted April 15, 2010 That was a great article - I myself start Intravenous Iron on Monday BUT all 3 of my children have low iron ferrtin counts with one being ADHD / Bipolar and a Ferrtin level of 11, the other 2 run in the 30 range. After speaking with my hematologist yesterday she made it clear we are looking for numbers in the 100 / 150 range. She said the lab values are not acceptable these days and the 22 range that my doctor looks for is way to low.
