Guest guest
Have you ever been scoped to see if you have Zenker's diverticulum? This is a small 'pouch' that forms in the pharynx, and food can gather in there and rot. It is often found that people with Zenker's also have GERD. Air hugs, Jackie Life is tough, but I'm tougher. ----Original Message Follows---- Reply-To: urticaria To: urticaria Subject: Re: - little yellow rocks Date: Tue, 18 Dec 2001 04:50:40 -0500 Hi , The little 'yellow rock' type thing you cough up is what I have done too. It isn't really hard, but sort of firm..but can smash it between my fingers. And yes, it does stink. This is wierd, I've never heard of anyone else getting these. I had these when I was a child and never had any more until a few months ago I had one, and last week I had another. I'm still smoking so don't think it is from you stopping. I've always wondered if it could possibly be a piece of food that gets stuck in the tonsils and after awhile I cough it out. Interesting.
