Regarding your ferritin question: your ferritin is 60, but what range is your lab using? My lab uses a "normal" range of 10 - 291; in this range, a 60 is not horrible but it is lower than ideal for thyroid function. I am at 79 and trying to reach 100.If iron supplements are needed, I will quote Val:"for Iron Blue Bonnet Bisglycinate seems to be the best tolerated with 150-200mg a day needed to raise ferritin levels."From her posthttp://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ RT3_T3/message/ 33134Hope this helps.> > >Hi there, and thanks for all your useful comments & info. > > Hello and welcome> >> >Apologies for being dumb - completely new to this rt3-ft3 ratio, t3 only treatment etc - but have had some lab tests done for the first time and struggling to get the rt3-ft3 ratio. > > So assume that I am to put the decimal point where i think it should be - ie 4 divided by .23, which gives ratio of 17? > >> Yep. Have chronic fatigue (which came on
