Guest guest
This is what I was warned about yesterday when I saw my local GP, when I told him I would be starting T3, he said it was POISON to the system, and I would end up with it. I told him that when I started taking the T3SR last month and got 'palpitations' and had to stop , he said 'well yes that's what it does to you'. He also called my Thyroid doctor a' quack' for putting me on it. I know I shouldn't have mentioned it too him but I only did because I was hoping to get an ECG done to check my heart before starting T3-SR again, which I didn't get done cause we mutually 'fired' each other. I " googled' it just to read about it and it does state it is a very life threatening situation 'if the T3 is in excessive amounts' of either body produced or supplemented. Can someone advise what would be classed as 'excessive', [i did read somewhere how much the normal body should produce but can't find that right now]. Has anyone run into this problem with taking T3? Or do we never go that high to get into that situation? Thanks Sandy
