Hi

My sister woke up this morning and her pulse was 68 and temp 36.6. That was without taking anything since 3.00 pm the previous day. Her temp has never been that high in the morning. I told her to cut her t3 dose in half so she will be taking 1 3/4 tabs spread out across the day. Her throat is much better today. She actually told me that she had felt a lump in her throat and it has gone down alot over night so maybe it was her thyroid being hyper.

Now my dad has been on t3 for 6 weeks now. All of a sudden he is getting high blood pressure in the mornings. Now his pulse is under 60 when this happens. He has had under 60 pulse when he has been on synthroid, naturethroid and t3 and never had high blood pressure. Could it be that he is not making any t3 anymore and his body really relies on it and so it puts his blood pressure up until he takes more t3. He blood pressure at midday is 126/80 pulse 67. His bp this morning was 150/80 pulse 58 one hr later after taking half a t3 128/74 pulse 58. So its seems that it has nothing to do with his pulse. Its looks like his body does not like doing without t3. I realise he is hypo according his pulses and we are working on that.

>Nick, I told her not to take any t3 tonight. Is that ok. She had already taken 2 1/2 before she rang me at 3.00pm.Sounds sensibleNick
