Guest guest
I have type 1 diabetes and my reverse T3 is always in the higher part of the range anytime I take any amount of T4. When I go on T3 only my reverse T3 drops by over 100 points but I don't feel right, I get bad adrenal fatigue symptoms, anxiety, pounding heart, headaches, I feel spaced out, my muscles are sore, heavy and hurt and I feel like i'm going to pass out. I also hate having to take T3 throughout the day guessing my dose and thinking about how I feel every second. If my next reverse T3 comes back high should I consider trying slow release T3 with adrenal support? Im slowly increasing my Naturethroid and i'm at 2 grains right now. My ferritin is 60 and I need to retest my adrenals because the last saliva test I had was 2 years ago. Im taking tons of supplements so I know i'm not deficient in anything. Could it just be my body is a bad converter of T4 because of diabetes? What if you have higher reverse T3 but your free T3 and free T4 are midrange or higher and you feel good, would it be ok to stay on natural thyroid then? Sorry for all the questions.
