My T3 increased from 312 to 395 (see below). I started reformulated Armour mid December, same dose of 120 mg as when on the old Armour. I don't know how much my RT3 changed, but could the new Armour increase RT3? I have an appt. Monday to try to get T3 prescribed. I have been on Erfa for over two weeks and have noticed no improvement whatsoever.

Nov 24, 2009

Free T4 1.0 (range 0.8-1.8 ng/dL)

Free T3 312 (range 230-420 pg/dL)

T3 Reverse 25 (range 11-32 ng/dL)

TSH, 3rd generation 0.02 (range 0.40-4.50 mIU/L) (LOW)

New thyroid tests Feb. 16, 2010 when I was feeling so badly on the reformulated Armour:

TSH 0.01 (0.40-4.50 mIU/L) LOW

T4, Free 1.2 (0.8-1.8 ng/dL)

T3, Free 395 (230-420 pg/dL)

RT3 was not taken on Feb 16.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Wanda
