Labs were done at 8:20am while fasting, no Cytomel for 24 hours, no supplements

at all for 3 days prior, no iron supps. for 5 days prior

Glucose, Serum 84mg/dL range (65-99)

BUN 20mg/dL (5-26)

Creatinine, Serum .82mg/dL (.57-1.0)

BUN/Creatinine Ratio 24 (8-27)

Sodium, Serum 135 (135-145)-(seems low)

Potassium, Serum 4.0 (3.5-5.2)

Chloride, Serum 101 (97-108)

Carbon Dioxide, Total 25 (20-32)

Calcium, Serum 9.4 (8.7-10.2)

Protein, Total, Serum 6.8 (6.0-8.5)

Albumin, Serum 4.5 (3.5-5.5)

Globulin, Total 2.3 (1.5-4.5)

A/G Ratio 2.0 (1.1-2.5)

Bilirubin, Total 0.9 (.1-1.2)

Alkaline Phosphatase, S 26 (25-150)-(low end)

AST (SGOT) 15 (0-40)

ALT (SGPT) 15 (0-40)

DHEA-Sulfate 182.8 (35.4-256.0)

Cortisol AM 15.8 (6.2-19.4)

Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy 59.0 (32-100)-(still too low was 37)

Vitamin B12 1058 (211-946)-(tad high)

Ferritin, Serum 55 (13-150)-(way too low still-was 41)

T4, Free (Direct) .89 (.82-1.77) was 1.1(0.8-1.8)

T3, Free (Serum) 3.1 (2.0-4.4) was 207(230-420)

TSH 8.790 (.450-4.500)was 2.71(0.40-4.50)

ReverseT3 150 (90-350) was 33 (11-32)

T3 Uptake 37 (24-39)(never had this one before)

I had to use a different lab due to insurance changes so for me it is a little

more difficult to compare the T4,T3, RT3. I am not taking very much

Cytomel(generic)now..only 1.25mcg. and wonder if that is okay. I lowered a few

weeks back and as I lowered my temps went up and up and I felt like I could run

all night and sleep was tough. That has leveled off after about 3 weeks. Right

now temps. and pulse and sleep seem to be doing well. Averages for the last

five days are: 99.0, 98.9, 98.7, 98.8, 98.8. But will this only last? I do not

want the RT3 to start building again.

Not sure about the importance of the Alkaline Phosphatase...maybe just runs low

with iron deficency and being hypothyroid?...I looked back at (3)labs from 2008

and this was low on all of them (26,27,28 at the highest).

I do know that I need to keep working on building my Vitamin D so now I will

take 4000 IU per day and still have much work to do where the Ferritin is

concerned will be taking more iron also(next time I will get a full panel done

for iron).

Also wondering if maybe Aldosterone may be low??? I think I've read other posts

that said Sodium would be low too?

Please give me your thoughts on all of this and please advise on anything I

could improve or watch out for.

Thank you again for all your support..I am learning so much!
