Guest guest
>>>>Hi Suze, I just wanted to point out that LNA has direct biological utility of its own. It's not the case that it's only useful as a precursor to EPA and DHA. So the fact that " it's there " doesn't speak at all to our ability to convert it. ***Hi , This is the second email that came into my inbox today, but was posted on the 25th! Is anyone else just today getting emails posted 4 days ago? Anyway, thanks for pointing that out. I had forgotten that some FAs (or all?) have their own utility as is. I do recall that LA is present in fairly high quantity in skin tissue, but I don't know what tissue that LNA is naturally present in, and what it's 'utility' is...would you happen to know?
