Guest guest
I took 2.5mcg T3 this morning and my temp still dropped from 98 at waking to 96.9, which is a bit better than the 96.4 when I took 5mcg yesterday and 6.25mcg the day before, but still not good. Got jittery, weird in the head, etc. I can feel my body not tolerating and needing the T3 at once. (And I never tried to raise. Oy!) QUESTION: Val said to figure T3 dose that doesn't make me get the adrenaline reaction, and 2.5mcg does that now! So, it seems like zero mcg's is the next step! Or, zero in the morning and some later. But, I really don't want to be stupid. I've been non-stop on some form of thyroid meds, starting with armour, since like '95, and have been on this last trial of 25mcg cytomel for a few months (I know that's a small dose for the list, but it's what's relative for me) so my body is used to something (even being resistant, I guess, too, huh?!). So, would it be STUPID OR DANGEROUS to address the adrenaline reaction by just stopping cold turkey? It seems like it would be. And, I don't want to get myxedemic, and I'm feeling oh-so funky with just 2.5mcg in me, which I can tolerate, just don't want it to be dangerous. While I can overanalyze, I tend to underreact to sxs, hence the mess I'm in. Or, should I wean? Or, should I tolerate it the adrenal reaction? I don't think I should go back up to 25mcg. I took a bit less than 2/3 of that yesterday, with none at bed. (Yesterday was ugly, though!) Thank you!! > > > > You are WAY overthinking this. It is simple you are not HYPER. What else were you on and when did you stop? It sounds totally adrenal, are you on any adrenal support?? Remind me, have you a ferritin number?
