I believe I have an RT3 problem, but I'm baffled by what might have caused it.

If I have calculated correctly, I have a ratio of 18.4%, which means I need to

clear RT3.

TSH <.006 (0.450-4.50)

FT4 1.44 (0.82-1.77)

FT3 4.2 (2.0-4.4)

RT3 228

Ratio = 4200/228 = 18.4

Ferritin 101

B12 over 2000 (don't panic - I've been doing Myers Cocktail IV's and although

this specimen was taken over 24 hours after a Cocktail, they are full of B12)

D3 96.3 (32-100) this was from a January lab test

I know Val says we need to find the underlying cause. Any suggested causes?

I will tell you that when I posted to the Adrenal group Val saw my FT4 and told

me I probably had a RT3 problem so I dropped my NTH after the specimen was taken

by 1 whole grain and started feeling better immediately - but not optimized -

but much better and no side effects from dropping by 1 whole grain.

My adrenals are stable on 30 mg HC with temperatures between 98-98.2. So, if I

understand correctly, I need a course of T3 only starting at an amount

equivalent to my 4 grains of NTH or 37.5 mcg T3. Do I divide this in to equal

amounts and would I take that with my HC doses?

Please advise ... and thank you so much!
