Guest guest
Good mid-morning Val: I'm now up to 30 mg. HC - l0 mg. cream and 8 Isocort - and feeling SOOO much better. I noticed a big difference after substituting one dose of cream for Isocort. I'm wanting badly to start T3, as Ive been very hypo for at least 5 months. I'm SCARED, though, until I get Ferritin tested as I've had such horrible reactions to any thyroid I've tried - also pretty bad episodes from trying blood pressure med. I'm going to try to get my Family Practice dr. to test Ferritin. Of course she will do a thyroid panel. She doesn't usually do RT3. Should I ask for it? She sent me to an endo last summer which is another story, but she tested for antibodies and said there were none. In your opinion, can I believe that? Hope so. Should I ask for renin, sodium, potassium, insulin or sex hormones? I have got to get DHEA, don't know if this little lab here can do it. She thought a 24-hr urine test last summer requested by the big city endo was exotic. Oh, since my BP is very high at times, would it make sense to test aldosterone. I don't know how useful rhe ACTH srim test would be to me. I couldn't do it at this time as I know I couldn't go off HC. BTW, I am stage 2, I think, but it feels like stage 7 without the fatigue when I try thyroid. I may have further questions if you're not able to search through all of this. Anything you can tell me is appreciated. If they did these thyroid lists would be graveyards instead of the teaming wiht life they are. What really cracks me up is they will use the really outdated thyroid -anel which has Thyroid Uptake, which relly IS an old and totally outdated test, Perhaps this is what they are confusing it with. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message.
