Re Jeffries safe uses of cortisol book - bulk buy

Would it be possible for the people of this list (possibly also

including people on the Adrenal-related STTM boards and Shoman's

boards) to organize a bulk buy (perhaps with an added discount if you

gave one to your doctor? Nah, that's too much to ask..)

This would get US a very useful book - which was never intended

for a non-medical audience (hence I think part of the high price).

It would also raise his sales figures, which MIGHT be good -

depending on what people make of those figures. (I'm thinking here

the argument, " good doc, or quack trying to pawn something off on the

'great unwashed'? " ) If this were limited ONLY to people on this list

or related lists, it would lesson the " great unwashed " argument, as

we are certainly NOT unwashed when it comes to knowledge about these

things!

If it were 'picked up' by someone in the medical community, it

might also raise the consciousness level that there ARE safe uses of

cortisol, as long as is is physiological, based on tests whenever

possible, and done in a way to try to avoid HPA suppression.

(decreasing dose during the day, no predisone or 24-hr things, so the

HPA has some 'wake-up' signal as the supplementation drops [my own

hypothesis])

Now, depending on WHO picked it up, it might not be good - I'm

thinking Mercola - who I think usually has good information - but

perhaps a bit overblown, has only a few references to actual studies

that I've seen, and he does seem to always want to sell you something.
