Guest guest
That's me, skipping the morning dose of thyroid, had the last thyroid tests around 8 to 9 in the morning, but I'm a nightworker and had my last dose at about 3 in the morning or so. My TSH was completely suppressed, Free T4 was 1.2 (with the upper range being 1.8), and Free T3 being, I think, 4.5 (upper range being 4.2, I think). The TSH dropped so fast from the last testing, 3 months before that, with those Free values coming up so fast in that time period, that I can't help but think that the very high antibodies of both common types, in the thousands, probably had much to do with that. Thinking about those fast changing values, this has been my wonder, whether it was the antibodies, or was it adrenal fatigue. Never had the adrenal testing done, so I'm still thinking outloud about this. Re: Do i need more Armour or T4? > > > About high T3 and relatively low doses of thyroid. Guest guest
Yes, and I think that many of us here are part of that what, 2.5% on the upper edge that got left out of the determination for what's so called " normal " . Even at that, many normal people may be well above that 2.5% of normal all their lives and feeling very well, despite these silly figures of what's normal. Many people ran on high levels of everything their whole normal lives, so that a sudden drop in any of these hormones was more devastating to them, more so than someone who normally had a little bit lower output of EVERYthing in their bodies. Human chemistry is complicated and very individual. Guest guest
All these differences is why all the thyroid groups may exist and work the way they all do. If you can find 1000 people with thyroid disease, and out of those 1000, maybe 10 people are sort of " like you " , then, in the " weeding out " process, you may gather several answers for yourself that came from 5 or 6 people. Maybe I'm not doing too good a job of explaining this, but thank God for the Groups!! Guest guest
Hyper is worse than hypo in my experience. I was on Welbutrin for a few days a few years ago then stopped it because I was so hyper, shaking, heart racing, even manic. Caffeine does the same thing to me. Re: Re: Do i need more Armour or T4? I respect that, it must be horrible being hyper. The worst i ever had being heart palps and pounding at night!
