Guest guest
Any counsel on what else I need to doing/taking now? Here are my labs drawn March 4 (not taking salt 36 hrs before nor iron for 5 days before). This is after 14 weeks of T3 only. It looks as though the ferritin I requested did not get done, so I hope the iron panel is still somewhat helpful. Sodium seems right, not so sure about renin and aldosterone, and if I need to treat, what to do. I'll go read websites while I'm awaiting a response: TSH .022 (.450-4.5) Triiodothyronine, Free, Serum 4.5 (2.0-4.4) T4 Free (direct) 0.23 (0.82-1.77) Reverse T3 21 (90-350) Iron Bind. Cap 270 (250-450) UIBC 161 (150-375) Iron, serum 109 (35-155) Iron saturation 40 (15-55) Renin activity, plasma 0.51 (1.31-3.95) Aldosterone 4.3 (4.0-31.0) Sodium, Serum 143 (135-145) Potassium, Serum 4.0 (3.5-5.2) Vit B12 1025 (211-946) I am currently taking 1 tsp sea salt water spread through the day. I take iron morning and evening iron (Solgar gentle 25 mg) w/vit C. I've also been taking adrenal support (120 mg rhodiola, 50 mg holy basil, and a synergistic blend of ashwaganda) I've been on 42.5 HC for two months now (10, 10, 7.5, 7.5, 5, 2.5)-- I tried 35 (like I know is " normal " for a female) but it doesn't seem to sustain me. I still need to stress dose frequently for evening meetings, that are a regular thing for me. Here are my cortisol labs from Nov 3, if you have some counsel on whether I should shift how I am dosing currently (I've also posted the cortisol lab on the adrenal site, so please ignore if this isn't appropriate, but I thought it might be good to have all results together: 0.44 (0.27-1.18 ) 0.14 (0.10-0.41) 0.06 (0.0500.27) 0.03 (0.03-0.14) Thanks much, Jeanne
