Test taken day before yesterday. Had test first thing in AM, did not take any

T3 than morning. I am on 150mg/day cynomel, will cut back immediately...but

still have bad hypo symptoms. Constant, crushing, debilitating exhaustion,

primarily.

Temps stable, 97s at rest, 96s after exercise.

Pulse at rest 80.

How can I still be hypo with a free T3 so high? Ferritin, Vit D, b12 all up,

RT3 has been gone since January.

The temp dropping after exercise sounds adrenal, but I am on 35mg/day HC,

15/10/5/5, (have also taken 20/5/5/5, no difference between the two).

I have tried taking more florinef; it gave me headaches. But I was on a lot

less T3 then. Worth trying an increase again?

I take:

1 1/2 tabs florinef (0.15 mg) (I still fail the " pupil test " )

2 teaspoons sea salt, divided into 2 doses

1500 mg potassium (K-Dur) divided into 2 doses

170 mg elemental iron (in 2 Hema-Plex tablets, divided into 2 doses)

150 mg Grossman Cynomel from Mexico, in six equal doses, taken sublingually. I

have been on this dose for two weeks

500 mg magnesium (Jigsaw sustained release)

My Rt3 ratio on 10/01/09 was 13. I started taking t3 only then.

I am stopping iron today, will re-test ferritin in 5 days, in the meantime

here's most recent labs.

2/19/10

Reverse T3: 35 (range 90-350)

TSH: .021 (range .450-4.500)

Free T3: 4.3 (range 2.0-4.4) (I was on 75 mg/day at this time)

T4, Free (direct): .17 (range .82-1.77)

Vitamin D: 63 (range 32-100) (up from 31)

Vitamin B12: 962 (range 211-911)

Ferritin: 78 (range 10-291)

Testosterone: 6 (range 6-82) (just started transdermal cream)

ACTH, Plasma: 18.5 (range 7.2-63.3)

Progesterone: <0.2 (range 0.1-0.8) (tried prescription-strength bio-identical

cream for over a year, it did not raise my progesterone levels)

Sodium: 138 (range 135-145) (taking twice as much sea salt now)

Potassium, serum: 3.9 (range 3.5-5.2)

Help is deeply appreciated.
