Too Much T3?

I am having high heart rate after my 5pm dose of cynomel and then after the

bedtime dose.

Believe it or not, I just clued in that it might be the T3. I started fludro

recently and asked about my symptoms on the adrenals board - thinking it was

related to that (and because of the high bp) but it is late in the evening and

haven't had a response yet and, in the meantime, it just struck me that it may

be a problem with taking the T3.

Here's what's happening.

I am having higher BP in the morning and early part of the day when I feel most

hypo. After 5pm, my BP goes to normal but my heartrate goes to 100. I've been

taking seasalt and it does bring it down a little but not much. Tonight, I

thought I might be having an adrenaline type thing and took a stress does of HC.

My heart rate came down to normal.

SO, I'm thinking maybe I am on too low a dose of HC right now causing problems

with my most recent raise to 75mcg cynomel. I was on 35mg HC in mid-Feb and

noticed some high cortisol symptoms. Over time, I lowered to 30mg and had

stable temps. Then I started having a higher BP problem and thought it might be

too much HC. Lowered to 27.5 last week but didn't effect the high BP. As of

yesterday, it has now made my temps go wonky. So I am thinking my HC dose is

now too low. In the meantime, before realizing my temps were not stable, I

raised T3 to 75mcg the day before yesterday.

Sorry to be going on too long here. My question is, what do I do now re T3

doses while I get my temps stable again on HC raise? My recent thyroid labs

show very low on Free T3 and I am worried about cutting it back.

TSH 1.09 (.5 - 5.0)

Free T3 3.0 (3.5 - 6.5)

Free T4 6.3 (11 - 23)

I have been dosing like this (started T3 only in early-Feb, ratio is 11.3):

8am 18.75

11am 12.5

2pm 18.75

5pm 12.5

bed 12.5

I wonder how far to cut back on the T3 while I get my temps stable again?

(Assuming this is the right thing to do?)

Thanks for any help :o)
