Howdy folks,

I am trying to calculate my ratio and am a little confused by my answer. I

tried to work out the math, question if I did it correctly.

here we go:

fT3 3.4 (2.0-4.4) pg/mL

rT3 39 (11-32) ng/dL

so, if 100mL per dL and 1000pg per ng, then:

3.4pg/mL * 100mL/dL * ng/1000pg = .34ng/dL

so, the ratio would be:

..34/39 = .0087

Is this correct, and what does it mean? I guess a ratio of .3 to 40 don't sound

too good, but what am I shootin' for? What is the ideal ratio?

Thanks ever so much. I am hunting online and am not finding too much that is

helpful on the subject.

Never Give Up! j
