Guest guest
I was just wondering what other supplements you give your child? Is there enough Vitamin-A in Hypoallergenic Nu-Thera or do I also need to supplement with CLO? Nik has had bumps on his arms and belly ever since I can remember. I give him Hypo Nu-Thera with Vitamin-c capsule twice a day. Tomorrow I will be starting eaither DMG or Pro-Bio-Gold ( not sure wich yet, I am still waiting for the nystatin to come so should I start the Pro-Bio-Gold now and build up his system? or Nik is starting to sneeze alot and I was going to give DMG to build up his immune system to hopefully headoff an arriveing cold ) What are your thoughts? Thanks Terry.B ( Beeda111@... )

I give my little boy Colostrum to build his immune system. I give him TMG with good verbal results. I give him SNT-P5P for the B6 magnesium. I give him a little CLO to increase the amount of Vit A to a little higher than 2500 IU. I give him EnymeAid before meals to aid in digestion. I give him MSM and Epsom salt baths to aid in helping his week PST system (which has a wonderful calming effect as well). And only " as need " Naltrexone for opiate activity (this is usually used for SIB which my son has but what it really seems to have done is lower his endorphin levels and he has become loving and attached and he feels the pain of self injury and will stop himself from engaging in it). He has had three Secretin infusions all with good gains. Vit A is high in Omega 3 but I am going to be using EFA from Kirkman in my baking. It must be refrigerated as with CLO liquids. There are other sources other than Kirkman that you can use. > Is there enough Vitamin-A in Hypoallergenic Nu-Thera or do I >also need to supplement with CLO? If you are using the one without added A and D then you would supplement them but the Hypo-SNT that has A has 2500 IU which is 50% of the RDA for an adult (2tsp). Dosage depends on the child's age. Megson suggested the following: Under 2: 1250 IU which is one cap or 1/4 tsp liquid 2-5 years: 2500 IU which is two caps or 1/2 tsp liquid 5-10 yrs: 3750 IU which is three caps or 3/4 tsp liquid Over 10: 5000 IU which is four caps or 1 teaspoon > Nik has had bumps on his arms and belly ever since I can > remember. Alpha-linolenic acid (Omega 3) is found in Flaxseed oils but the EFA from Kirkman is a filber like substance that you can cook with. Fish oils have Omega 3 but they rot easily (oxidize). At the DAN conference there was a lot of information surrounding this. It seems the suggestion is to have max. concentration, free of heavy metals and no fishy after taste which is achieved when they put them in the capsules under nitrogen to prevent oxidation. > I give him Hypo Nu-Thera with Vitamin-c capsule twice a day. > Tomorrow I will be starting eaither DMG Remember if you see hyperactivity with DMG to supplement with folic acid. autsim.com has that dosage info. I got a lot of hyperactivity from DMG but none using TMG. But you have to play around with the dosage. Both are derived from beet root and is considered a " food stuff " . >or Pro-Bio-Gold ( not sure wich yet, > I am still waiting for the nystatin to come so should I start the > Pro-Bio-Gold now and build up his system? or Nik is starting to sneeze alot > and I was going to give DMG to build up his immune system to hopefully > headoff an arriveing cold ) What are your thoughts? I believe in proibotics and cycle them in (cranberry, scFOS, and colostrum) because you don't want yeast, etc. to build a resistance which it can if you are only using one thing all the time...I've been told. You can bake with scFOS...it's so sweet. I am getting some tests back soon and will use Yeast Control through Kirkman which can also be used with Nystatin or cycled as in rotating. I haven't tried this but I've been told that Beta Glucan is a powerful immune booster. You might see if anyone has used it. Forgive me if I sound like a commercial...there are many great companies out there that can supply equally good products...I've just gotten comfortable in my ways. Ease in our lives is such a luxury. Keep networking...there are many things we aren't doing that have been very helpful to others. But this is what we do.
