,

Hi, I was told many times when Avery has xrays done,

that he has an enlarged heart. The doctors did and

ekg and it was just fine. One doctor said it was

because his body is so small that his heart appears

bigger. Another doctor told me that his heart is

having to work harder, so it is enlarged. I don't k

now, but the cardiologist told us it is nothing to

worry about. I don't know if this will bring you any

peace, but just know you aren't alone.

enlarged heart

Hi everyone, I haven't posted in a very long time, but I do read the

messages. My grandson Trey has been doing good until this past week when he

developed a viral infection - you know the story - 105 fever scared us

terribly!! To make a long story shorter, he had an x-ray taken to see if he

had pneumonia. We weren't expecting the doctor to tell us that he noticed

that Trey has an enlarged heart. My daughter is devestated to say the

least. This happened yesterday, so now he is scheduled for an EKG tomorrow

morning. We were wondering if anyone else has been told this about their

RSS child. I was wondering if maybe his heart is a " normal " size, and just

looks big inside his tiny body. The doctor said it could be a bad x-ray, or

that he took a big breath when the x-ray was taken. He had a growth hormone

test (a 3 hour one) done a couple of weeks ago which showed low growth

hormone levels. Blood was drawn every 20 minutes or so. If things turn out

ok with his heart, will take him to the convention this year. She is

really looking forward to it. , grandmother to Trey 3 yrs. old

Hi everyone, I haven't posted in a very long time, but I do read the

terribly!! To make a long story shorter, he had an x-ray taken to see if he

had pneumonia. We weren't expecting the doctor to tell us that he noticed

morning. We were wondering if anyone else has been told this about their

looks big inside his tiny body.

She is
