I think this was googles April Fools joke. It may only

be funny if you have pigeons, slow-moving waterfowl,

and seductive parrots (pretty much sums up my house).

And I know this is totally unrelated to anything

except how clever I am--but, I thought of a mnemonic

device for spelling " broccoli. " I personally can never

remember whether the word has a double " c " or " l " .

Until it occured to me--broccoli is a " cole crop " . Two

" c " 's. Nice, huh?

Lierre, I like the way you think! I live in Arizona which does not

switch to daylight savings, so I had to figure out a way to know what

time it is in Texas, where my family lives (for phoning purposes, of

course). I remember that the time difference is two hours in the summer

because there are two m's in " summer " ; and one hour in the winter

because " one " and " winter " have the same beginning sound. :-) Great

minds!
