Guest guest
Hi: I am new to the forum but I am unclear if anyone shares my symptoms and what to expect from a skin biopsy. I have had many tests already done including Sed rate, C Reactive protein, food allerigies, digestive tests etc. I am in the process of getting more tests done including a parasitology test of my stool and skin biopsy in January along with the immunofluerescent staining. Can someone tell me some things I can learn from the skin biopsy? Also, here are the symptoms that noone seems to mention -- am I the only one?: I have deep tissue burning constantly, 24-7 that feels like sunburn throughout my body. It is worse in the rectum and genitals from sitting which may indicate pressure urticaria. I do not break out in hives unless I provoke the area with my fingertips. When I press on some of my soft tissue such as thighs or near my hip, stomach or back muscles -- I feel *intensely* stingy spots. They feel like bee stings. After I press these stingy spots, I get hives in that area only, within a few minutes. I do NOT itch at all. I just burn. I feel perfectly fine in every other way. Energetic, not sickly, thank goodness. Any thoughts on these symptoms and what I can learn from the skin biopsy would be most appreciated.
