Guest guest
I too am doing 12 Vita4Life caps daily..for now. I'm watching my blood levels and so far so good. I recently complained about my hair falling out too...at 14 mos. post-op..and I talked to my PCP yesterday. She was looking at my records...and it's only been 3 1/2 months since I was quite ill with CMV hepatitis...so she said that is probably the reason. To me...it seemed a lot longer ago...because I have been feeling so well. Also, on the Vita4life...it only gives you 30% of the biotin that is recommended. So she suggested I get a supplement. So I did that. Along with my Vita4Life, I also take 2000 mg of C...because I don't feel there is enough in the supplement...I also add 800 IU of dry E, 100 mg of extra zinc, which may or may not be enough...as the V4L has 100 in it...and I take milk thistle for my liver enzymes...as this has seemed to be helpful in my case. So, I wait to see if the added Biotin..and time will stop the hair loss. I also take 150-180 grams of protein supplement daily..without fail. I am a Dr. Fox Medial...60 " of common channel. But I treat myself nutritionally like a distal to be on the safe side. I try to keep my food intake protein too in the event that I do absorb anything. One never knows exactly if a gram or two might slip by...so in that event..I would like it to be protein. =) Just my 2 cents.
