Guest guest
We have used biocidin in conjunction with Kirkmans pro-Bio Gold (probiotic) for my sons yeast. His yeast levels came down to just above normal on the OAT within 6 weeks. We have - at the same time - also had him on a sugar free/yeast free diet. I don't know whether it was the biocidin, the probiotics, the diet or the combination of all 3 which gave us such an effective result. You can e-mail Biobotanical Research www.biobotanicalresearch.com and ask them your specific question about B-vitamins and also where you can get the biocidin. I believe that in the US it is only available through practitioners (I am in the UK). We did discontinue SNT but this was because it was too hard to get all the supplements in and I figured treating the yeast was the priority. We used 4 drops per day biocidin (my son is 30lb) but the bottle gives dosage rates. We put it into pear juice. It is virtually tasteless in cranberry juice if your son can tolerate that. You would use biocidin in combination with a probiotic (to replace the friendly bacteria). I would think that using it along with nystatin would result in too severe a yeast die-off but someone else may correct me on that. You could try biocidin for 1-2 months and if not as effective as you need replace it with nystatin. Best wishes Caroline > First, I am on a quest to find Biocidin.
