Re Things are going Great!!!

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to share some great news!!! Our 6 year old has been on the diet

for 7 months and things are going great! The teacher told me yesterday that

he is very smart (which we already knew) and that he is doing really well,

academically (got an A on his phonics quiz (he is in 1st grade), behavior

wise, socially and even flirting a little!!! LOL He is a different kid! He

still stims a little, but nothing like he used to. I did the ATEC today and

he got a 9!!! I truly wanted to share this because, it is rewarding beyond

words, to finally see the pieces fall into place, and also for those of you

who are having doubts about the diet, need some encouragement or are just

starting... Hang in there! It isn't always an easy road, but there is light

at the end of the tunnel!!! I can't emphasize enough how important it is to

also, stick with the therapies (OT, speech) and any other interventions

along with the diet.
