The first step is admitting the areas you need to work on and then slowly

but surely tackle them. We are all a cumulation of past events in our lives

and sometimes we are stuck in being able to make changes, not having a clue

what triggers our emotions in a negative way and being able to change the

things that we tell ourselves and how we react to certain situations. This

requires replacing " old tapes " with " new " ones. Hearing what others say to

us without becoming defensive and thinking you are hearing the same things

you heard in the past. Do you understand what I am trying to get at? I am

not sure I am being very clear.
