Guest guest
yes it's strange, can you please post the lab results completely with ranges? thanks, andrea Lab question Hello,I introduced myself and my daughter last week. I have the daughter (10) with a brain stem tumor who was just diagnosed hypothyroid. I got a print out of her labs in the mail yesterday and it is pretty much what they told me, but I noticed a few things I have questions about. First of all she was diagnosed as insulin resistant six months ago and this was her first check-up following radically changing her diet and being put on 1000 mg of metformin a day, and yet the lab tests did not include glucose or insulin levels. Is it just me or is that strange? Also I see results for T4 (5.6) TSH (5.48) and Free T4 (1.2) but no T3. Is this typical? Thanks Patti J.
