pre-school check up

I helped my daughter take my youngest grandson to get his pre-school check up

and this new doctor said that he needed a vaccination. The one that she pointed

at was his DTaP. His shot record had been lost and I had went to the health

department and got a printout of his vaccination records. The print out said

that he did not need another until 2006 and that he was all caught up on his

vaccinations. I pointed that out to her and she said well I guess we can skip

that today. I said yeah and maybe when it is due they will be making them

without the mercury in them. Then she started to keep the paper that I had from

the health department saying that he was all up to date on his vaccines. I said

that is mine and I want to keep in his files. If my daughter had not lost the

shot record, that doctor would have been pressuring her to get a vaccine that he

did not need for another six years. What is it with some of these doctors.

They see a blank space on a vaccination card and they have to fill it in?
