Guest guest
I believe current advice is that plastic bottles should not be used for more than one child or if they are old. Repeated cleaning scratches the plastic, making it difficult to clean properly but more importantly, chemicals begin to be absorbed by the liquid. Lesley ---------------------- From: Beverly OK, I know that we are meant to promote breast feeding first but does anybody have any ideas? I am in the middle of a big tidy up/throw out - and have about 10 Avent feeding bottles (Large and small), sealing tops, lids, a large selection of teats (not used as DD2 was a bit of a guzzler and had to go straight onto Fast Flow!), plus an Avent Hand breast pump and storage bags(100) plus clips. Also an Avent steam steriliser. It seems such a waste to throw them out, surely someone somewhere could use them - orphanage? I'm just not sure where to start or who to send them to. Any/All suggestions would be gratefully received Beverly - with her Mrs Cleaning head on!
