Lard comes from the rendered fat off a hog and butter comes from cream taken from milk. I would say tho that the lard you are able to get is healthier for you than Land of Lakes anything. The pigs are out in the sunshine ( " free range " ), with no drugs, but they eat corn and soy. Is this lard any better than Land o Lakes butter?
