Hi folks,

So it seems that my skin doesn't like NT!!! I am totally broken out (and not

teenager anymore). I stopped taking Cod Liver Oil to see if that's the problem.

I'm also trying to eat LF Sauerkraut and Swedish Bitters every day as

recommended on WAP website. I'll admit that I'm not very strict about NT, but

I'm definitely staying away from refined sugar and grains and I've even cut down

my carb intake. Anything else you all would recommend eating or avoiding?????

Thanks!

This is what helps me: no bread, not much grains (and

I only eat buckwheat, millet and brown rice), no

sugary fruits and vegetables, and no cheese. Staying

away from restaurant food seems a good idea to me as

even choosing similar food to what I eat at home seems

bad for me (they must be doing something to it that's

not good).

Depending on one's age, there may be a shortage of enzymes in the

body. When we are young the body usually has ample reserves. As we age the

body reserve is reduced - especially if we have eaten a cooked food

diet. When there are not enough enzymes to help with digestion the foods

putrefy in the intestine and toxins result which can sometime show up as

skin rashes or acne or other problems.

On a raw diet the foods will contain enzymes for digestion. Any cooked

foods will not contain much active/useable enzymes so metabolic enzymes

will be " stolen " from the body tissues for digestive purposes - further

reducing the body's enzyme reserves. Try taking some good, organic enzyme

supplements to see if the acne is helped - it might take a few weeks to

show effects. I'm using Tyler Plant Enzymes " Similase " (from the local

homeopathic drugstore) and they have given me a surge of energy and greatly

reduced some acne I had as well as improved elimination quite a bit.

Some (or most?) grains require a goodly amount of amylase to help in the

pre-digestion through the saliva and chewing. Most grains we eat are

cooked. As we age the amylase reserves in the body are greatly

reduced. Supplementation can be beneficial if grains are eaten.

Another thing to ponder is that raw fats will bind with toxins in the

body. The more raw fats I eat the less skin eruptions show up. I use raw

cream, raw suet, organic avocados, raw organic butter and raw whole milk.

Even with raw foods and a great diet the body may want to throw off old

toxins and that may show up as skin rashes or acne. This difference is

characterized by the type of diet (mainly cooked or mainly raw).

Hope this is helpful.
