Guest guest
YEP YEP, me too — but I have a great endo luckily who talks as fast as I do and loves to hear what’s going on with me and makes appropriate adjustments! On the downside, my primary doc just stopped taking our insurance but I found a doctor nearby who actually does consultations before treating you — I haven’t seen that in decades! I am preparing my list now for my “interview” with her — boy I am gonna have to speed talk --- I figure the best thiing to do is make a list and hand her a copy for my records and to “follow along!” lol! sue Lynn, I do the very same thing. I walk out feeling like an idiot or having made an enemy out of the doc by becoming defensive. Amber Re: Putting it all in writing Bless your heart . I'm so glad you stuck to your guns and pushed them. I've been thinking too that I am going to start putting everything on bulleted list for doctors from now on. When I have to tell them EVERYTHING, they sort of glaze over and then I get nervous and I start talking too fast figuring their interest is about to expire and I sound like a moron. And when I get all excited that they're not paying attention, I look like I'm energetic because I am scared and jumpy at that point - which of course they think couldn't be normal for a person who feels lethargic. I think we can all learn from your experience. Stick with us, we need fighters like you Best, -Lynn
