Hi, Im moving to the San Diego area soon(May) from Northern

Ca and looking for housing with Native Nutrition soul(s) Know of

anything available? I have been following Nourishing Traditions

cuisine for about 4 years now (holistic for nearly 20, ex-vegi for

10) I'm 38, single ,female, professional photographer, want to

return to grad school in transpersonal/depth psychology.

I'm interested in finding or creating a harmonious living

environment that supports and nurtures respect for self, others

and personal accountabiltiy as well as a commitment to be part

of the solution not the problem. Having access to some nature

trails close by would be great, Preferences for no TV are high,

MAYBE an occasional video, yard, own bath and must love

animals. I have 2 in/out cats. I like dogs, my cats don't , still

working on that one!

I am currently living on my own which has it's pluses and

minuses. If I could find the right fit with 1 or 2 other folks who

would like to experience a family thing outside the typical

biological family nuttiness, that would be awesome.

It seems to me that alot of people out there are flailing around

not getting a whole lot acomplished because 1 they don't know

what their lookig for, who they want to live with, where they want

to live. and then how to co-exist when setting up clear and

consice boundaries. Age range and sex orientation are

negotiable.

The places I 'm looking are inEncinitas, DelMar, LaJolla, Ocean

Beach(not the yuppy scene) Hillcrest, North and South Park

or even further likr in Rancho Santa Fe, be around horses. mayb

get some goats or cows.

If any of this sound appealing to you email me

I may also look in th Santa Barbara are as well as the central

coast, although it's cooler their than in SAnDiego

thanks for any information on this.

Janine--good luck in finding housemates..I lived in San Diego for two summers

and loved it. But beware, San Diego is one of the Raw Vegan hotspots!!!! I

recommend Hillcrest--it's cheap, safe, near the park, and not completely

stripped of culture.

Best,

I lived in San Diego until I graduated from high school about four years

ago. I don't know to what extent this is true or whether it matters to you,

but back then Hillcrest was reputed to be a gay community.

Yes, I suppose it is a gay-friendly neighborhood...but in my experience of city

living (NYC and SF), the neighborhoods " reputed to be gay " (and I am straight)

are the nicest to live in. ESPECIALLY if you are female and single. Just my 2

cents.
