Listen here Mr. Mittensota Terry!!!!!!!! You will not let this thing beat

you down! You will go and enjoy a wonderful trip to Iowa, A 38 foot 5th

wheel sounds like a perfect way to go and forget all of this mess. My

grandfather was from Remson sp? I think it is in northern Iowa. Still have

a lot of relatives around there. (YIKES lol) Terry, whether or not you are

talking to " HIM " I believe he is listening and waiting. Talking to " Him " is

not easy for me either. I was raised catholic, went to catholic school, my

cousin is a catholic priest, married a muslim in a catholic church (yep, it

can happen lol) then things happen that aren't fair and are not supposed to

and needing someone to blame makes it easiest to stop talking to " Him "

However, personally when I am at my wits end and tired of all of it, I

reflect on " Footprints in the Sand " or a very personel favorite of mine

goes like this

Dear God:

So far today I have done alright. I haven't gossiped, I haven't lost my

temper, haven't been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish or overly indulgent.

But in a few minutes, Lord, I am going to get out of bed, and from then on,

I am probably going to need a lot more help. AMEN

A little humor goes a long way. Love, ~Alena's Mom

PS, I think her appointment went very well. We will have to wait for lab

work to come back but he definately thinks this is mastocyotsis. And I will

let you know when the story comes out in the paper.

Terry's update...

Dearest ,

I don't know if anyone of us has said it lately, but, YOUR THE

GREATEST! Believe it or not, I actually got signed on from home, (my

son is at soccer practice). When I saw your post, it touched me so

deeply. I know that HE sent all of you to me to help me battle and

not give up. I too grew up as catholic being a good italian boy and

all, but I have recently converted to the church of Jesus Christ of

LDS. I try hard most of the time, and I know that there will be

bumps in the road of life, but it doesn't mean that I have to like

it. Your thoughts, words and courage, have been an inspiration to

alot of us. OK, OK enough of the mushy stuff :o) I am so glad that

Alena's appointment went well. The mastocytosis diagnosis idea

sounds logical. I'm gonna' keep praying for my little Alena and I

know He will answer them. Iowa roots huh? I just knew it, there had

to be something special about you. anyway, now that I can sign on

from home, I'll keep up with everyone till we leave for our trip on

sunday. Thanks again ...
