Guest guest
, In Dr. Shaw's book, he recommends giving Echinacea and putting drops of garlic and mull (or mullein) oil in the ear. He said he tried it on his son and it resolved the ear infection overnight. There are also homeopatic drops that you can find in health food stores. Dr. Shaw cites a German study that found that ear infection relapses were much higher for children treated with antibiotics than those for children treated with homeopathy. I'm with you, I think I will go to great lengths to avoid going the antibiotic route. Good luck, Lori
Guest guest
I also am terrified of ever using antibiotics again on my almost 2 year old son. It had tubes put in back in July and we went GFCF in early August. Now he has a cold and I am praying he won't go into yet another ear infection. I have a bottle of liguid ethancea (sp?) in my frig. Has anyone used it and did it work? Margie
