Cocoa Butter Lotion For Face and Body Good for: normal and dry skin Use: daily Prep time: approx. 45 mins. Mix with: whisk Store in: low tub or jar Yields: approx. 25 treatments, depending on use 1 TBSP cocoa butter 1 TBSP anhydrous lanolin 2/3 cup grapeseed, sweet almond, apricot kernel, or jojoba oil 3 TBSP distilled water 1/2 tsp. borax 6 drops essential oil of sandalwood, fennel, or geranium Melt together the cocoa butter, anhydrous lanolin, and oil in a small pan or double boiler. Heat the water in a sperate pan and stir in borax until dissolved. Remove both from heat and slowly combine the mixtures, stirring with your whisk. Blen until cool and creamy. Add essential oil and blend until cool and creamy. Add essential oil and blend again. Store. Use 2 or more tsps per application. Refrigeration not required if used up within 30 days. Light Moisturizer Good for: normal to oily skin Use: daily Prep time: aprox. 5 mins Mix with: Shake before use Store in: bottle or spritzer Yields: approx. 24 treatments 1/2 cup distilled water 3 tsp glycerin 5 drops essential oil of lemon Pour ingredients into storage bottle and shake vigorously. Product can be applied using a cooton boall or by spraying the skin lightly and allowing to dry. Great to use anytime your skin needs refreshing or is feeling dehydrated. Use 1 tsp. per application.
