Guest guest
I need about 600 objective opinions. I saw an enterologist today and I can't decide whether to be angry with him or if I'm overreacting. Some of you may recall I was seeing him to find out if my symptoms were caused by thyroid or peri-menopause or some other thing. I made the appointment two months ago before the death of my dad and my recent problems with depression. We discussed my symptoms which are: depression, lack of concentration, brain fog, cold feet, carpal tunnel in both wrists, very dry skin and hair, a constant need to clear my throat and a feeling of tightness in my throat, constipation and irregular periods. He did order tests for thyroid and menopause. BUT, then he asked me how long it had been since I'd seen my psychiatrist (8 years). He wants me to go and see him again because he says all of my symptoms could also be from uncontrolled depression. He said to have the psychiatrist send him a report so I can't really just forget to go. I suppose I can delay and see how these tests come out. I can't decide if I should be angry. I'm definitely not happy about going to the psychiatrist. I didn't like the guy I saw way back when so I'll have to find a new one. Do I need to add overreacting to my list of symptoms? For people who have had these tests, he's doing a FSH and a TSH and a 24 hour urinalysis (hormones, I guess). Help! Wanda (who also has a pain in her side that he said not to worry about till you gets test results) _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
