Guest guest
>>>Are other people out there trying to " give up " bananas? I never thought about this before. Also: how much fruit is ok in one day? (including dried) My children usually have some banana and a little pear or something at breakfast and maybe a dried fig or a few raisins later in the day. Is this too much? ***Sonja, I'm not actively trying to give up bananas per se...I'm just trying to emphasize local food in my diet, and living in Maine, that obviously excludes bananas. Unfortunately, it excludes just about every other fruit/above ground veggie for much of the year! But, if I do find confirmation that bananas, and all other imported *organic* produce is irradiated, that will probably settle it for me.
