Guest guest
> WHat is the best thing to use in washing your hair? I use an abbreviated recipe that Aajonus Vonderplanitz recommends. I don't have the original recipe but the main ingredient is raw egg. You can find mention of it here: live-food/message/6964 I have found that one whole raw egg, blended alone works quite well. I use half, rinse, and repeat. I do have to shampoo almost everyday though, otherwise my hair gets a bit too oily for my liking (probably more natural but doesn't look as good). The lecithin in the egg yolk emulsifies hair oil (and egg oil) while the proteins in the white condition the hair. The milk would probably provide calcium to form a " soap " with the hair oil, the honey would moisturize, and the veg. juice would astringe, while the vinegar would restore acid pH to scalp.
