Sally mentions the use of seaweed to obtain iodine. We can't afford the

Celtic salt, so the seaweed is really my only potential source, as far

as I can tell. Does anyone here know approx. how much kelp or whatever

would be a good amount to start with? <<

I heard (this is hearsay!) that iodine absorbs well through the skin, so

you can use a cotton swab to paint the soles of your feet (you can paint

it anywhere, but the staining will show) with iodine before bed. If you

are iodine deficient, supposedly it will absorb fairly quickly and the

staining will be gone by morning. If you're not deficient, the staining

will still be there. Free advice, worth what you paid for it. :-)
