It's possible that he has Dermatitis Herpetiformis.

Most people with DH also have Celiac disease. It's a condition of the skin that

if you eat or come in contact with gluten you get nasty eczema, blisters,

etc...it sounds like it might apply.

I believe they have to do a skin biopsy to confirm DH....

I would talk to your dr or a dermatologist about it.
