Guest guest
> Is less than .002% barley protein okay in a rice drink? Been reading those Rice Dream boxes, eh? Most everyone has ultimately discovered that Rice Dream beverage is NOT okay. Could be for a variety of reasons, only one of which is the barley protein. Personal favorites in our house: DariFree (potato-based, honey-sweetened, very low sugar and VERY milk-like, great in recipes and on cereals, etc.) Pacific Rice Vanilla Fat-free (sweet rice milk, no canola which is a problem for our son, not as tasty as some rice milks but my boys will drink it) Blue Diamond almond milk (sweet and so yummy, it is a treat rather than a milk substitute in our house, I seldom find boxes of chocolate almond in the refrigerator since they are usually in the grocery sack or empty and in the trash.)
