Depends how you set the filter - if you do it on the basis of the

Reply to address rather than the subject header, that should work. At

least I think it does for me!

It's been yahoo! since August 2000. I'm not sure when we won't be able

to send email to anymore, but I'm going to have to reset

my address book while I'm thinking of it. My filters are all based on

the name of the group, without egroups mentioned, and some came

through this morning as egroups anyway.

Anyway, for more info, go to the egroups site and click on the thing

on the left that says " welcome egroups members! learn more " It makes

you sign in to link your egroups account to a yahoogroup account, in

case you want to reset anything in your account.

What bothers me is that if you set up a Yahoo profile (which it looks as if

you have to do if you want to access the web pages) it insists you put in

your sex and that is then visible in your profile, which anyone can access

and in the member list on the groups. Now while I don't mind all you lot

knowing I'm female I'd rather not have every Tom Dick & Harry knowing - in

my experience that is when you start getting pervy messages. If anyone can

find a way of contacting Yahoo to complain about this please let me know.

>Has anyone else noticed we appear to have been Yahooed overnight !

And the net sporns a new phrase - " we've been Yahooed! "

>None of my egroups mail filters are working now, because they are all

set to filter @, not ! Bah !

No problem with mine... they were all message rules based on Subject

content, and thus are not affected by changes in the sending mail server's

ID.

>They're taking over the world...

But who are THEY? Who actually is Yahoo? - some teenager probably started

the company a few years back.
