Guest guest
Hi Bill, Just an interesting note I'd thought I'd pass on. When I signed Mark up on the clinical trials at the NIH I received a call from a nurse there who said the one I signed Mark up for was basically for 2nd opinions but gave me another nurse to call who's Doctor is working strictly with MSA patients. When I spoke with her she said their trial was on hold until they could come up with another protocol. Dr. Goldstein was researching MSA and doing only two tests. A heart cath and a PET scan. Seems the tubes he was using for the heart cath are no longer available so that trail is on hold until they can decide on the next protocol to go with the PET scan. The NIH is paying total costs for any research and all tests but the patient has to cover the traveling expense. Take Care, tell Charlotte we said "hey" Judy
