Pau D'Arco for yeast ?

How many are using Pau D'Arco for yeast control. My daughter is using it

right now since it is so hard to get a doctor to prescribe Nystatin. It

seemed someone said that you are not suppose to use it for more than a week

at a time. My daughter has serious problems with yeast overgrowth from 3

c-sections and years of antibiotics for asthma and urinary infections.

After three years of trying to get the doctor's to do something, we are

going to try natural herbs. So far she is taking 500 mg of Pau D'Arco and

500 mg of MSM 3 x daily and it is beginning to help. She has been on that

for a week and now she is taking Pro Culture Gold. Her eyes had a discharge

that 2 eye doctors, 1 allergist and two regular MD's could not do anything

for. They gave her meds for her depression, partially brought on by her eye

problem. Why do the MDs that believe in yeast overgrowth or Candida

Albicans have to be so few and so far apart?
