Guest guest
Hello Everyone: Now we are on to the recipes for masks, my favorite! Basic Clay Mask Good for: All skin types Use: One to two times per week, or as desired Follow with: moisturizer Prep time: approx. 5 mins. Mix wtih: small bowl and spoon Store in: dry ingredients only-low tub/jar, zip-seal bag, or tin Yields: approx. 8 treatments 1/2 cup French clay or fuller's earth Cream-dry skin Milk-normal skin water-oily skin Combine 1 TBSP of clay with enough of the appropriate liquid (determined by skin type) to form a smooth, spreadable paste,. Spread onto face and neck and allow to dry thoroughly. Rinse. This mask can serve as an excellent overnight pimple treatment. Simply take a cotton swab and apply a dab on each pimple and leave on while you sleep. In the morning, rinse the remaining bits of mask with warm water. The clay absorbs the excess oil during the night and aids in the healing of the pimples. Egg White Firming Mask Good for: normal and oily skin, especially skin with large pores Use: one time per week, or as desired Follow with: moisturizer Prep time: 5 to 10 mins. Mix with: small bowl and whisk Store in: do not store. Mix as needed Yields: 1 treatment Special: minimize the appearance of large pores. Excellent skin tightener White of 1 fresh egg 1 tsp. cornstarch Combine the ingredients and beat until stiff peaks form. Smooth onto a clean face and allow to dry. Rinse. If you have a slant board, lie on this while your mask is drying. You'll swear you've had a mini face-lift when you're finished! Okay that is it for today, Enjoy!
