What do you all think? >>>>>>> Felicia - if you are using water to mix your protein I can't see how you would gain weight either, but the added protein will help you feel healthier, stronger and hopefully not lose any more weight. if you were to get a product like Met Rx which makes a meal replacement and mix it partly with milk [don't have a cow michelle] and add that to your meals, not replace a meal - then you might gain some weight over time. 9 weeks before my tummy tuck/hernia repair which will be 4 weeks ago tomorrow, I started doubling my protein to prepare for that surgery and the trauma to the body. initially I dropped a quick four pounds as the extra drink at night curbed my snacking. I believe the extra protein has helped me to heal rather quickly and feel stronger at this point out than with my last two surgeries. no matter what your weight, if you want to be as healthy as you can, protein supplements are a necessary part of our life as are vitamin and mineral supplements. my 2cents since you asked, Sue Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
