I don't think they think it will help me gain

weight, but that maybe it will keep me from losing any more,

and stay healtier if I do. What do you all think?

Felicia -

if you are using water to mix your protein I can't see how

you would gain weight either, but the added protein will

help you feel healthier, stronger and hopefully not lose any

more weight. if you were to get a product like Met Rx which

makes a meal replacement and mix it partly with milk [don't

have a cow michelle] and add that to your meals, not replace

a meal - then you might gain some weight over time.

9 weeks before my tummy tuck/hernia repair which will be 4

weeks ago tomorrow, I started doubling my protein to prepare

for that surgery and the trauma to the body. initially I

dropped a quick four pounds as the extra drink at night

curbed my snacking. I believe the extra protein has helped

me to heal rather quickly and feel stronger at this point

out than with my last two surgeries. no matter what your

weight, if you want to be as healthy as you can, protein

supplements are a necessary part of our life as are vitamin

and mineral supplements.

my 2cents since you asked,

Sue
