Guest guest
What is " dieters tea " ? Thnx A. St. Louis MO Waiting for a date From digest 4381 Message: 3 Date: Thu, 21 Nov 2002 11:37:07 -0800 (PST) Subject: Re: constipation thanks, My doctor said not to use Citracel or metamucel because they require too much water. they can also cause a blockage in people with the RNY. I think I may just keep to the dieters tea. It seems to work well. It just cleans you completely out. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
I remember using dieters tea a long time ago before surgery. It worked but it caused an awful lot of painful cramping. Just my 2 cents. That's because sugar-free baked goods are often sweetened with sorbitol, which tastes sweet and is an excellent laxative. Because of the way it works, though, it might make you dump if you eat too much -- postop folks? Has this been your experience? Janie Whatever you think you can do or believe you can do, begin it. Guest guest
Sue - You won't be able to eat that many cookies at one time, at least I don't think you will. But maybe you won't need as many to get them to work. You may not want to consume the carbs that are in the cookies after surgery either. Just a thought. Guest guest
The sugar free stuff worked so well before surgery but not after. I don't know why. Roe > >I have a question.
