Guest guest
Sorry forgot to include my meds. I was in a hurry to rush out and fill my script. I'm on 50mcg of Levothyroxine and she is starting me on 5mcg twice a day of Cytomel. When I went in to visit she said she'd like to see my TSH under 1. I was diagnosed by my primary care doctor a little less than a year ago. I went complaining of fatigue and cold intolerance. I had weight gain also but that wasn't one of my primary complaints. I figured if I wasn't so damn cold and tired I'd be able to lose the weight. In any case, I'm the one that told them to run a thyroid test and he did that plus one to check for peri-menopause. The TSH test came back high and the peri-menopause test negative. This last round of thyroid levels is from the Endocrinologist, my first visit. All the previous tests I've had have just been TSH. I'm one of those folks who goes into a Doctor's office already knowing what tests I want them to run and what medications I want to take. They put up with me for the most part but they said to see an endo if I wanted T3.

Guest guest
You just sound so much like me—I do the same thing when I go to the doctor---armed and dangerous! I also have the weight gain, cold, etc. but since starting the T3 10 days ago, I no longer have ice cold hands and feet... So I think it’s doing something... Sue jytdtp wrote: > How do you feel?
